Environment
Arctia is committed to IMO, EU and national emission reduction targets, although legally speaking, they do not directly apply to icebreakers. Our goal is to reduce emissions by 20% by 2030 relative to 2020 levels. To this end, the company has prepared a CO2 roadmap which specifies concrete emission reduction measures.
Our sustainability program focuses on the topics we have identified as most relevant for us. The topics are GHG emissions, biodiversity, preventing environmental pollution and promoting circular economy.
